Dr. Albanese is intentional with her treatments – She seeks to provide optimal care to each patient by establishing a safe environment in which they can thrive
and reach their health goals.
In her clinical experience, she has concentrated on Women’s Health and Holistic
Skincare. Dr. Albanese continues to study by also training in Facial Rejuvenation, including a Holistic Microneedling certification through AcuDerm. She cherishes each opportunity to assist this patient population.
Her treatment style is based on Japanese Meridian Therapy, a form of acupuncture that always aims to treat the root cause of symptoms. The gentle and thorough
approach to meridian therapy is what truly sparked her ongoing interest. She has found it to be an ideal treatment for pediatrics and as well as for those who are new to acupuncture or may be needle-sensitive.
Dr. Albanese is a California Board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She received dual Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. There, her externship was
completed at UCSD’s Owen clinic alongside the HIV care team, using acupuncture and herbs to treat immunocompromised patients. Before obtaining her doctorate, she worked as a Medical Assistant at an Orthopedic/Pain clinic and assisted in regenerative
medicine procedures.
In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Kala, surfing tiny waves, resting at home with some dark chocolate nearby, and traveling back to the east coast to spend time with family.

Dr. Kahveciyan is passionate about helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals by working with them in aligning their mind, body and spirit.
As a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, she has focused her years of clinical practice on Women’s Health and Fertility as well as Cosmetic Acupuncture with Microneedling and Facial Rejuvenation. While training in school, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at a premiere fertility clinic in the Bay Area, which sparked her interest in the subspeciality of reproductive acupuncture. Shortly after obtaining her license, she was offered an exciting opportunity to train with a successful cosmetic acupuncturist in Orange County. She then knew that these specialized areas of focus would become the cornerstones of her practice. Dr. Kahveciyan is honored to be able to work with women and serve them in these ways.
Her trainings have included a high-level apprenticeship with an Integrative Fertility Acupuncture clinic in San Diego, continuing education with Dr. Randine Lewis on clinical strategies to improve ovarian function, Microneedling training with Dr. Michelle Gellis and Facial Acupuncture and Rejuvenation training with Shellie Goldstein. Dr. Kahveciyan always looks forward to expanding her knowledge base and is excited to continue deepening her skills in these areas to better support her patients. Her interest in holistic medicine began through her own personal health journey which led her straight to TCM. After seeing how well it worked on herself, she knew this would be her path in helping others too.
When out of office, Dr. Kahveciyan enjoys traveling, connecting with nature, finding new hot springs and dancing to music at shows or concerts. She also loves spending time with friends, family and her sweet dog named Luca.
